Fun, creative art tutor
I have been an artist for over 25 years, my current practice is in jewellery, printmaking and drawing. My training has been extensive, a Foundation course at Cheltenham Art College, a Ceramics Degree at Camberwell Art College, a Masters in Film & TV Design at Kingston University and City & Guilds in jewellery design & making at John Cass (London).
I co-own and run Love Art in Tooting Market, South London, an art gallery and gift shop which also runs many art classes for both children and adults. I am very interested in nurturing children's natural abilities and encouraging their creativity and have experience in home schooling as well as the demands the curriculum for children that are in the school system. I believe learning should be through fun and real understanding and enjoyment of the subject and this is what I strive for in my classes.
Alongside my own art practice and Love Art, I also co-run act up, an organisation that runs acting classes, producing, creative mentoring and social engagement. Aimed at young adults to 100 year olds, it's in its 21st year.
Overall, I am a great believer in strengthening and encouraging everyone's natural creative abilities, we all have them and I look forward to developing yours.
